Dr. Jacobs selects his staff with an eye toward their compassion, personal ethics and efficiency. Each team member shares the vision of blending internal and integrative medicine and every member of the Unison staff demonstrates our core values of caring, healing and listening; you will always feel taken care of because, at Unison Medicine, that’s our primary goal.

Dr. Shahram Jacobs

Raised in Los Angeles, Dr. Jacobs graduated with honors from UCLA and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, receiving Board Certification in Internal Medicine. While traveling in Israel after graduation, he began to explore the spiritual nature of healing and came to both the ancient and modern conclusion that healing is an integrative art; that a patient’s mind and intentions can truly affect their health. Since that time, he has received Board Certification in Integrative Medicine and pursued expertise in alternative medical techniques from Asia, India and around the world. Now both forms of care define his life and his practice. Opting for treatments that, when possible, are non-invasive, a patient of Dr. Jacobs will benefit from an approach to medicine that treats the whole person, rather than just a collection of symptoms.
