Christina Tossoun is a nationally certified Physician Assistant born and raised in California. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the University of Southern California. Prior to her training to become a Physician Assistant, she worked with Dr. Jacobs as a clinical research coordinator and now serves as a sub-investigator on various clinical trials. Christina’s professional interests include adult medicine, chronic diseases, and dermatology. Her goal is to provide the highest quality and compassionate care for all her patients. In her leisure time, Christina enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Rosario is a nationally certified physician assistant with over 20 years of experience. She graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in 1997 and has since brought her passion for care to community clinics, ERs, urgent care, and private practices. She’s all about blending modern medicine with holistic healing and loves teaming up with patients on their journey to wellness!

Born in Los Angeles, Cindy graduated from American Career College in 2011 with a medical assistant certificate has been working in medical research since then. Having worked in a variety of studies such as, Diabetes, Hep C, Anemia, Gynecology, and Chronic Kidney Disease, Cindy enjoys the hands on aspect of research. Cindy has been passionate about the medical field for a long time and hopes to become a registered nurse some day."I appreciate Dr Jacobs for giving me this opportunity to be part of his research team."

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Linda began her career in Research in 2005, working for a Central Laboratory monitoring for critical lab events and ensuring the safety and well-being of Clinical Research subjects, while simultaneously studying to become a Medical Assistant. It was at that time, that Linda realized her affinity was for patient safety and satisfaction while playing a role in introducing the world to groundbreaking treatments for multiple conditions. Linda has experience in multiple fields of research and has worked directly with local hospitals to recruit patients for clinical research studies, including but not limited to, Vaccines, Endocrinology, Osteoporosis, Women's Health, Infectious Diseases & Dermatology. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her children and exploring the outdoors.

Jessica is a skilled Medical Assistant and Clinical Research Coordinator at Unison Clinical Trials. With a strong foundation in patient care and clinical operations, she plays a key role in coordinating clinical trials, drawing blood and processing blood samples, and recording vital signs to ensure smooth and accurate study execution. After graduating from American Career College, Jessica began her career as a medical assistant, where she developed hands-on experience in patient-focused care. In 2019, she transitioned into the clinical research field, working on multiple ophthalmology trials and building deep expertise in managing complex study protocols. Jessica joined Unison Clinical Trials in October 2024 and continues to contribute to advancing medical research through her attention to detail, strong clinical knowledge, and dedication to improving patient outcomes.

Ana is a dedicated Medical Assistant and Clinical Research Assistant at Unison Medicine, where she has been an essential part of the team for the past three years. With over seven years of experience in the medical field, Ana brings both compassion and clinical expertise to her role. Her journey into healthcare was inspired by caring for her mother’s health, which led her to pursue and earn a Degree in Associate of Applied Science as a Medical Assistant from LA ORT College (2018). Currently serving as a Study Coordinator at Unison Clinical Trials in Sherman Oaks, California since March 2022, she has over a decade of experience supporting clinical trials and medical practices. Yesenia holds a Medical Assistant diploma from Milan Institute (2006) and certifications in Good Clinical Practice (2025, TransCelerate, Bio-Pharrna) and Shipping Infectious Substances (2023 Mayo Clinic). Throughout her career, she has contributed to studies across a range of therapeutic areas including Psoriasis, Clostridium difficile, osteoporosis, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, Alzheimer's disease, pneumonia, COVID-19, and vaccination research. She is based in Sherman Oaks, California, and is committed to advancing patient outcomes through diligent study management and compliance with regulatory standards.
